Overweight, hungry, emotional eater, bloated, stressed out, tired, unmotivated, hopeless, and ashamed.

For as long as I can remember, I’ve struggled with my weight. With a family history of heart disease (several have undergone triple bypass surgery), cataracts, weight issues, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol, I figured I was genetically doomed.

I’d try to eat less and go on different diets but that never lasted long. Plus, I was utterly miserable and hopeless.

On top of my weight issues, I suffered from terrible acne, digestive troubles (so.much.bloating), mood swings, no motivation, and really low self-confidence.

But, then everything changed! For too long, food was the cause of my pain and now it was going to save me and my health.

In 2016, I discovered the plant-based/vegan diet and slowly started cutting out meat, dairy, and eggs. I started eating an abundance of whole and real foods and before I knew it I lost 30 pounds, I had a regular workout routine (that I actually enjoy), my acne was gone, I stopped having digestion issues, and felt amazing in my own skin!

I cannot stress this enough: switching to a plant-based diet truly saved my life. I am so much happier, calmer, centered, loving, intuitive, and genuinely ecstatic about my life. A plant-based diet has healed my relationship with food and myself.

I am no longer worried about my future because I have learned that my family’s health history doesn’t define my own. And, I know a plant-based diet will support me for years to come.

After this whole experience, I wanted to start helping others improve their health so I become a certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach. Now, I passionately wish to share my experience and health coaching with YOU! I have personally seen and felt what a diet rich in plant-based foods can have on our wellbeing and quality of life.

This way of eating healed my relationship with food, my health issues, and brought me back to life. Now, I want to help you do the same.
