Empower Your Day with These 3 Femtastic Podcasts

There is change happening in our society. Can you feel it? There is this increase of feminine power that seems to be radiating from women and self-identified women all across the country and the rest of the world. Our voices are stronger than ever. More and more brave females are speaking up about their experiences to demand our rights as humans be valid and respected by all. I feel incredibly lucky to be living in an era where I am surrounded by such strong and courageous women who are tired of keeping their abuse quiet and who are ready to fight for what every single person deserves: to be treated equally, with kindness, and respect.

I don’t know about you but since the Women’s March this weekend I have been feeling extra empowered. So I wanted to share with you some incredible podcasts that I have been listening to lately to keep the conversation going. These are all run by amazing women who talk to other #bossladies about feminism, being female entrepreneurs, what it means to be a woman today, and how we are changing the female stereotype. These shows create inclusive content meant for every type of women out there. Hope you love this podcasts as much as I do!

Girlboss Radio, hosted by Sophia Amoruso, produces real interviews with successful women who help listeners understand that the definition of “success” is changing, highly individualized, multifaceted, and achievable for anyone. These powerhouses give valuable insights into their struggles and accomplishments that will inspire anyone to start following their own dreams. It is so refreshing to listen to these interviews since they get deep into tough and vulnerable topic and the guests are never asked demeaning questions such as “what are you wearing?”

Unladylike is hosted by Cristen Conger and Caroline Ervin and is a brand new podcast aimed at showcasing how women are fighting for their rights even when everything (including the government) is against them. The duo backs up their episodes with significant research and make sure to present a well-rounded argument. Their first episode on abortion shows listeners how truly dedicate Cristen and Caroline are to uncovering those taboo topics and giving them the chance to see the daylight. As they say, their show has a “solid dose of delightful feminist rage” and I am hooked after just one episode.

Guys We Fucked makes me laugh every single episode. Hosts, Corinne Fisher and Krystyna Hutchinson, are brutally honest and incredibly real as they promote their anti-slut shaming podcast aimed at removing stigmas around sex and sexuality. I highly recommend listening to their show as Corinne, Krystyna, and their guests empower you to not care about what others think of you and make you feel comfortable in your own skin.

You can find all these fabulous podcasts anywhere you get your podcasts.

So, what do you think? Are you familiar with these shows? I would love to hear your recommendations. Please leave me your favorite femtastic podcasts below :)
